The irrigation business flourished and expanded. Additional construction and service personnel were added in order to install and maintain the equipment that had been sold. During 1978, there were signs that our current supplier of center pivots systems was having financial difficulties and a nearby competitor selling and servicing Valley^® center pivot systems was closing its doors. This brought about the opportunity to open discussions with Valmont^® to service and sell their equipment.

Valmont^® was (and still is) the oldest and largest manufacturer of center pivot irrigation systems in the world and this fit with our philosophy of representing the best equipment in the business. A contract was signed after our first visit with Bill Dougherty, CEO of Valmont^® Industries. We have been affiliated with Valmont^® Industries to this day and in the process, we have earned continuous outstanding service and sales awards. We take pride in the fact that we properly engineer each and every individual irrigation system to maximize customer irrigated acreage, to minimize pumping costs and to save and conserve valuable water resources. Customer service is our motto. We promise to repair and follow up on a service request within the same day. We are available for service on an ongoing 24 hour basis. We are highly recognized and highly regarded as being one of Nebraska’s leading irrigation dealers. We are also the oldest irrigation dealer in eastern Nebraska as well.
